Austin-based employee Janneke Parrish, who works at Apple Maps, is the leader of #AppleToo.
An Apple program manager who posted anonymous stories of discrimination against employees at Tech Giant has been allegedly canned.
Jennick Parish, an Austin-based employee who worked at Apple Maps, runs #AppleToo, an online story-sharing group. Apple employees face alleged “racism, racism, inequality, discrimination, intimidation, repression, coercion, abuse, unjust punishment and unlimited privilege.”
According to The Verge, she was fired last week during a company investigation for deleting files from her work device – including Google Drive, Robinhood and Pokemon Go apps.
Inside Tweet, Parish, 30, indicated that she was fired in retaliation for her work with #AppleToo. The truth is, “he said.” But we’re doing the right thing because it’s the right thing to do. #AppleToo is about asking Apple to do better to end systemic discrimination, abuse and pay inequality.
