Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Egypt together will have 85.8 million gamers with ગેમ્સ 3.1 billion in game revenue by 2025, according to market researcher Nico Partners.

According to MENA (Middle East North Africa) market report, Saudi Arabia’s games market has reached $ 1 billion in 2021 alone.

MENA has rapidly emerged as a key growth area for the global video game industry, Nico said in his first report on the sector.

For the delegation’s part, the report focuses on what Nico calls MENA-3: Saudi Arabia (KSA), the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Egypt. He also surveyed 3,000 players in the region and has spotlights on the Gulf States, North Africa and Jordan.

Revenue from MENA-3 games was $ 1.76 billion in 2021, rising to a 5-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 13.8% to $ 3.14 billion in 2025, the report said. The number of MENA-3 players reached 65.32 million in 2021 and will increase to 85.76 million in 2025.

Saudi Arabia is the gaming powerhouse of Arabic-speaking nations in MENA, earning the most revenue by balancing population size with high spending power. The UAE represents the smaller Gulf states. Although Arabic is the official language, the population is predominantly foreign.

Egypt is an emerging sports market with an active and competitive gaming community and MENA-3 is the largest market for gamers. Growth will be driven by higher costs per user, additional government support for sports and sports, and more gamers entering the market.

Nearly half of MENA’s population is under the age of 25 and has grown up to be a digital origin that plays a huge role in their entertainment.

The governments of the region support the video game sector. Saudi Arabia and the UAE have introduced policies for sports localization, local sports development, new studios and offices of international sports companies and hosting major sports tournaments.
