Verana Health, a digital health company that leverages big data insights to enhance medical research, has raised $ 150 million in the Category E round of funding.
The San Francisco-based company has formed specialized data partnerships with numerous notable medical organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Academy of Neurology, and the American Urological Association, to collect and analyze anonymous patient data and accelerate development. AI meets healthcare
Vera Health has two main products – the VeraQ platform, pitched as a health data engine that combines separate, unfiltered healthcare data; And Qdata, a set of data from VeraQ for diseases including ophthalmology, neurology and urology. Originally founded as Digisite Technologies in 2008, the company rebranded as Vera Health in 2018 with an investment of $ 30 million, led by Alphabet’s Venture Capital Arm GV.
